GEL PROTOCOL


1. PUSH GEL TRAY DOWN INTO POURING BOX.

2. PLACE COMB OF APPROPRIATE WIDTH, SIZE, AND NUMBER INTO NICHE AT THE END OF THE TRAY. (MAKE SURE IT’S AT THE END WHERE THE BLACK WIRE WILL CONNECT)

3. POUR AGAROSE SOLUTION (1% AGAROSE IN 1X TAE), 40ML FOR SMALL GELS

4. ADD 1µL OF ETHIDIUM BROMIDE PER 40mL OF SOLUTION

5. SWIRL AND POUR MIXTURE INTO TRAY

6. LET GEL SOLIDIFY
