The European Specific Support Action SYNBIOCOMM funds part of the costs for participating in the iGEM competitions 2006 (applications now closed) and 2007 for teams from universities from European Union and associated countries.
Based on the experience of the ETH team in 2005, the contribution will be 10,000 Euros and should cover roughly half the costs.
