While Cambridge gives you a general engineering background for the first 2 yrs of the course, I s The fact that in October I will begin a practical, hands-on molecular biology-based PhD in synthetic biology says everything about how highly I value iGEM and the ideas it promotes.

Away from the lab I play soccer for my College First XI  and I'm also the Social Secretary for the three men's teams - that obviously fills a lot of my time but I do have a real keen & active interest in film and music.
