• get E. coli w/ V. fisheri Lux operon from MIT
  • grow up and make cryostock of said strain
• request i15010 from meagan at the registry
• figure out how to make frank's EnvZ- strain competent
• finalize initial design of photosensor, begin growing up transformed cultures
