What's an iGEM ambassador?
iGEM Ambassadors are qualified by being involved in previous iGEM programs. They are a new addition to the iGEM competition for 2006. The Ambassadors are sent by the iGEM program to assist school teams as necessary by promote communication and information exchange, visit and present teaching materials, and help support iGEM back end operations like the [http://partsregistry.org Parts Registry] and DNA assemblies.
