the meeting was productive:
- the scheme of the input-module was discussed in order to establish a common understanding (illustrations should follow soon, either by dominic or zlatko)
- system boundaries will definitely be PoPS
- the actual heart of the module we called "regulator". the regulator as a black box stands for different possible implementation strategies to activate/repress the two different outputs selectively. here, the highest number of variants are possible:
- 2 gene: a, r -> parallel or serial
- 1 gene: a/r -> identity
- n gene: inverter+intermediate
