June 20th 2006, Tuesday
- The first Training Session got underway today. Three teams with their individual leaders participated in the lab work. Prof. Davies gave each group a safety tour. Farshid and Jessica conducted the training. Seema organized all the raw materials for the training. The iGEM members had a great time at the training session and the OC would like to thank Prof. Davies for making his lab available to the iGEM members.
June 21st 2006, Wednesday

June 27th 2006, Tuesday
- The first day of Training Session II took place today. Three teams participated as expected. The teams did plasmid DNA extraction (a.k.a. miniprep). The team members also got the chance to meet with our iGEM ambassador, Mr. Hessel. Mr Hessel provided some useful information regarding iGEM and synthetic biology.
