Funding
WEEF/MEF proposals
- Linda discussed proposal and presentation requirements.
The body of the proposal/presentation should contain: objective, timeline, resources required, background of students involved, justify the need to travel, summary and conclusion.
Key points to mention: How this project can benefit the school in the future, and the team is actively seeking funding from other sources
- Linda, Anne, Kathy, Christina, and Sam will start drafting the proposal once the budget has been drafted
Budget
- Detailed budget is crucial for funding applications
- Patrick will look into possibilities of applying for the Dean's funding with the department of Engineering
Lab Space
- if possible, the team expressed much interest in having at least part of the lab work being conducted here
- Chris will speak to Dr. Charles and other contacts within biology to look into how feasible this idea will be. Update on next week's meeting.
- Lance could potentially be our wetlab trainer
Post-Thermometer Project (or Parallel Project)
