I'm Maiko Furubayashi, a 2nd year undergraduate student at Chiba University, Japan. I'm so excited to take part in iGEM because is's my very first time to get involved to a real lab reserch!

My iGEM project

the project now my team is working on is a "Swimmy bacteria(E.coli)". it means that where the light is on the E.coli stops, and where the light is off it moves freely. to do this project, we are now studying about chemotaxis and trying to make a way out.
