I'm Maiko Furubayashi, a 2nd year undergraduate student at Chiba University, Japan.

- movies : die hard, back to the future, down by law, & jim jarmusch's movie
- reading : harry potter, the catcher in the rye, one piece(manga) etc. i'm reading "Big Bang" by Simon Singh (translated in Japanese) now, and it is reaaallly exciting. i love thinking about space.
- music : greenday & tom waits
My iGEM project
the project now my team is working on is a "light trap bacteria(E.coli)". it means that where the light is on the E.coli stops, and where the light is off it moves freely. to do this project, we are now studying about chemotaxis and trying to make a way out.
