My name is John Koehler, and I am a Master’s student in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University. I graduated (for the first time) from Purdue University in May 2006 with a Bachelor’s degree in Ag and Bio Engineering, and hopefully I will graduate (for the second time) in May 2007 with a Master’s. I am originally from Ames, Iowa, where I attended Ames High School, home of the Little Cyclones. My current research areas include nitric oxide releasing materials, nanoparticle transport across intestinal cells, and liposomes. I joined the Purdue iGEM team to learn more about synthetic biology and expand my laboratory experience into the bacterial domain. When I graduate I am planning to go into the biotechnology industry, hopefully somewhere out in California. | My name is John Koehler, and I am a Master’s student in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University.
