June 20th 2006, Tuesday

The first Training Session got underway today. Three teams with their individual leaders participated in the lab work. Prof. Davies gave each group a safety tour. Farshid and Jessica conducted the training. Seema organized all the raw materials for the training. The iGEM members had a great time at the training session and the OC would like to thank Prof. Davies for making his lab available to the iGEM members.

June 21st 2006, Wednesday

The second day of the Training session I underwent smoothly today. Two teams participated in the training. Prof. Davies took pictures of the teams. The teams had a blast and everybody is looking forward to participate in the Training session II.

June 27st 2006, Tuesday

The first day of the Training Session II took place today. Three teams participated as expected. The teams did plasmid DNA extraction (a.k.a. miniprep). The training sessions were funfilled as usual. The team members also got the chance to meet with our iGEM ambassador, Mr. Andrew. Mr Andrew appreciated our training process and shared many useful informations regarding iGEM and synthetic biology. He also shared ideas about corporate sponsorships and answered the queries of the iGEM members present there. Finally the iGEMers would like to thank Jessica for giving our wiki page such a cool look.

June 28st 2006, Wednesday

The second day of the Training Session II is scheduled today. Two teams are participating and the training is expected to last from 4pm to 6pm.
