chemical sensing (IPTG)

  • IPTG sensing works fine since we have a large gap between 0 IPTG and positive IPTG concentrations.
  • However the model is highly sensitive to positive IPTG concentrations.
  • This is due to the very low dissociation constant IPTG and LacI share.
