iGEM is the international Genetically Engineered Machine Competition held annually at MIT in the USA, see [http://www.igem2006.com igem2006.com] for more information. We'll be visiting China during December 06 and January 07 to promote the iGEM competition, encourage Chinese teams to take part in 2007 and make contacts with organizations responsible for the development of science and technology in China. We are inviting Chinese faculty, students and organizations interested in iGEM to attend a meeting at Peking University on Thursday December 28th 2006.
