Meeting opened with a round of introductions.

Farshid presented a general overview of the competition as well as a brief summary of last year's goals and accomplishments.

Dr. Davies continued the topic and further explained the objectives of the competition as well as a more detailed outline of the University of Toronto's accomplishments in previous years.

The meeting continued with a questions and answers session. Dr.Davies answered attendees' concerns regarding the technical matters of the project.

Attendees were asked to vote on a date that would be convenient for the majority in order to set up the teaching session. A brainstorming meeting is to be held after the teaching session.

Corporate sponsor issue was brought up and 8 attendees expressed interest in assisting Farshid with presentations and organizational procedures.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed that attendees should expect an announcement by Farshid regarding the exact date and location of the teaching session.
