Hi! I'm Nancy! I'm techically a graduate student in the LEAP program.
LEAP is a program for people who want a Master's in Engineering but you don't have a Bachelor's in Engineering.
The first part of the program is a "catch-up" phase, where I'm currently taking all the undergraduate level classes
which I didn't take as an undergrad psych major! I have one more year of undergrad classes before I begin my graduate level work!

After 8 years in the social service industry, I decided to switch careers into Biomedical Engineering.
I have always loved bio but my love of math convinced me to pursue an engineering degree instead.

After hearing Drew Endy speak in Timothy Gardner's class, I was absolutely hooked. Synthetic Biology is fascicnating!
I expect iGEM will be a lot of fun and a lot of work! See you all at the Jamboree!
