If we don't already have access to a luminometer, perhaps we could apply for a grant to get one from [http://www.luminometer.org/how-to-apply.html here]. Or perhaps we could borrow one from [http://web.mit.edu/be/people/kuldell.htm Natalie Kuldell] at MIT.
